AUTHORIAL WORK
THE DAYS OF FEAR
I produced this staged reportage in Jesolo Lido, portraying the everyday life of four fake soldiers assigned to patrol the coastal area during the winter season. My intention was to create a provocative visual project for our contemporary times, in which the obsession with internal security is amplified by global conflicts. Through this work, I sought to imagine an absurd scenario in which even a deserted winter destination becomes a cause for concern, to the point of requiring the deployment of the army.

FUTILE PROPORTIONS
I developed an interpolation between an outdoor fashion shoot with Franco Petter at IIF and a series of projects I carried out last year, also for the IIF concession, decontextualized and stripped of their original meaning. The idea is to construct a surreal graphic narrative-a dialogue about distances and scales that leads the viewer to reconsider the protagonism of the individual in light of an inevitable downsizing within the environment. 1) The statue in the distance was photographed during the Re Nudo Festival; it's a sculpture by Emanuele Giannelli. 2)The underwater figures are part of the theatrical performance Mercoledì delle ceneri, photographed at Teatro Oscar. 3) The eyes in the forest were photographed during a shoot at MBA Academy. The setting is from another project. 4) The small man in the foreground is Emidio Clementi, photographed during the theatrical performance Perché io non spero più di ritornare at Teatro degli Angeli. 5)The stylized figure of the model in the photograph also appears on her own folding fan.

THE RHYTHM OF CHANGE
For this reportage I collaborated with Nonunadimeno, it was intended for submission as a candidate for the Women Today exhibition at IIF. The purpose was to capture the dynamic exchange of ideas that emerged during one of their meetings.

THE LAST TASK
The Last Task is a narrative photographic project that aims to intensify and depict the corporate working condition of the average man, crushed by the obsession with performance and profit. The resolution to his situation is imposed by the company itself: either commit a vile act, or be fired.

EXHIBITIONS
A27 2049
IIF's group photography exhibition "Changing Course. Things You Humans Can't Imagine" takes you into the world of Philip Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" Held at Villa Confalonieri in Merate, the exhibition was curated by Roberto Mutti.

CAMPO SPORTIVO EX REDAELLI

bio
My name is Alberto Vendrame, I was born in Conegliano, in the province of Treviso, and since I was a child, I have developed a passion for images.
During my adolescence, the opportunity to represent something real or imaginary began to appear to me as a useful method to be able to forever sculpt my sensations or those of those who lived in the frame, thought as flashes that in everyday reality are often ignored or forgotten within five minutes.
Thanks to the experience at the Lago Film Fest in Revine Lago and the two-year professional course at the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia (MI), I was able to get in touch, work and compare myself with many other people of my age who had lived the same experiences as me, enriching me with unique and different points of view and providing my technical training.
So, looking for a instrument that would give me the opportunity to simply be myself, I approached photography, which I now consider the most direct means to express my sensitivity.
What attracts me about artistic work is the truth, and photography immediately appeared to me as an irreplaceable tool to reach others when words are not enough.
